Private examiners should be appointed for these subjects under the previous system

Jaipur: Rajasthan Private Teachers’ Association has expressed concern over the education department’s recent order barring private school teachers from being appointed as invigilators for practical exams in govt schools. The association said this decision could disrupt the conduct of exams due to an acute shortage of subject teachers.

Association members pointed out that govt schools lack sufficient teachers in subjects such as drawing, home science and computer science, all of which require practical exams.

“Private examiners should be appointed for these subjects under the previous system,” said Satveer Singh, president of the association.
