AIAPGET 2026: NTA announces re-exam for 49 candidates after power failure at Jaipur centre

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct a re-examination for 49 candidates who could not complete the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 at a test centre in Jaipur due to a power failure.The re-exam will be held on September 1, 2026, from 10 am onwards, according to an NTA notice.AIAPGET 2026 was conducted on August 22 for candidates across the country. A total of 36,979 candidates were registered for Shift 1, of whom 35,837 appeared at 200 examination centres.

AIAPGET 2026 Jaipur centre power failure

According to NTA, 192 candidates appeared for the examination at Shri Satya Sai PG College Centre in Jaipur. However, 49 candidates could not complete the test because of a power failure at the centre.NTA has attributed the power failure to M/S Eduquity Career Technologies Private Limited, the examination conducting agency.To ensure that the affected candidates get another opportunity to complete the examination, NTA has scheduled the re-exam for September 1.

Revised admit cards for affected candidates

NTA said further details about the AIAPGET 2026 re-examination will be provided through revised admit cards issued to the affected candidates.Candidates should check their revised admit cards carefully for the examination centre and other details before appearing for the re-exam.

What is AIAPGET?

The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) is conducted by NTA for admission to postgraduate MD, MS and PG diploma courses in traditional Indian medicine and homoeopathy systems.The examination covers postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.For the 49 candidates affected by the Jaipur centre issue, the re-examination is scheduled for September 1 from 10 am onwards.
